Please join us in a celebration of Virginia with guest of honor John T. Edge, director of the Southern Foodways Alliance, as we pay homage to Virginia Foodways through our chefs, farmers and artisans. We have scoured thee state to bring you a diverse representation of great talent including Chefs Rodney Einhorn (Terrapin - Virginia Beach), Harper Bradshaw (Harper's Table - Suffolk), Lee Gregory (The Roosevelt - Richmond), and Aaron Deal (River and Rail - Roanoke). We are also joined by shepherd Craig Rogers of Border Springs Farms, and musician/farmer Adam Musick of Musickland Farms. Oystermen Chris Ludford, Tommy O'Connor, and H.M. Terry will provide a merroir treat. Your thirst will be quenched by local beers from O'Connor Brewery, and a beautiful handpicked lineup of wines from Virginia.
The Southern Foodways Alliance documents, studies, and celebrates the diverse food cultures of the changing American South. They set a common table where black and white, rich and poor -- all who gather -- may consider our history and our future in a spirit of reconciliation.
